1. Power Supply Connection:

  • The controller requires a 12V DC power supply.
  • Connect the red wire to the positive ignition power line, secured with a 10-amp fuse.
  • Attach the black wire to the vehicle's ground point or the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Accelerator Pedal Signal Connection:

  • The controller's yellow wire monitors the accelerator pedal signal, which is the 5V wire from the electronic accelerator pedal.
  • You can identify this wire using a voltmeter: with the pedal pressed, it shows approximately 5V, and when released, it measures close to 0V.
  • To find the correct connection point, check near the engine control unit (ECU) wiring harness or directly at the accelerator pedal connector.

3. Solenoid Connection:

  • Use two of the solenoid's vacuum ports: one for the vacuum source and one for the blow-off valve. The third port must be left open to atmospheric air.
  • If the third connection is not correctly vented, the valve may remain open, causing operational issues.

4. Timing Adjustment:

  • Open the control box to access the potentiometer, which allows you to adjust the valve's opening duration between 0.1 and 1.5 seconds.
  • The red LED indicator near the potentiometer confirms proper operation of the controller.

5. General Installation Tips:

  • Ensure the required vacuum for the solenoid is sourced from the intake manifold pressure line.
  • If the blow-off valve spring preload is too strong or the vacuum pump is insufficient, consider using an additional vacuum reservoir.
  • Carefully check all electrical connections during installation to avoid damage to the ECU.
