A versatile range of fuel pumps are designed for use with carburettor equipped engines. This latest variant now has solid state technology to provide superior reliability over the older points triggered types. The Interrupter fuel pumps can be fitted anywhere in the fuel line and the 2 bolt bracket and single cable wiring make this pump a breeze to fit. The end cap of the pump is removable to reveal a filter which can be cleaned and replaced.

3 Different pump models are available -

SILVER TOP ROAD - A 12 volt negative earth pump with a flow rate of 106 Liter (28 gallons)per hour and a delivery pressure of 0,27- 0,38 Bar (4-5.5 Psi). Ideal for fast road use on engines up to 150 BHP.

SILVER TOP COMPETITION - A 12 volt negative earth pump with a flow rate of 114 Liter (30 gallons) per hour and a delivery pressure of 0,41-0,48 Bar (6-7 Psi). Ideal for fast road or competition use on engines up to 200 BHP.

RED TOP WORKS - A works specification 12 volt negative earth fuel pump with a flow rate 144 Liter of 38 gallons per hour and a delivery pressure of 0,41- 0,55 Bar (6-8 Psi). Suitable for competition use on engines up to 240 BHP.

It is recommended that all of the above fuel pumps are used in conjunction with a fuel pressure regulator to prevent the possibility of a fuel leak in the carburettor due to the fuel pressure being too high.

The inlet and outlet ports on the silver top pumps are 1/8 NPT and the Red top works pump has 1/4 NPT.

Supplied as a kit which includes a spare filter, 2 fuel pipe adaptors, 2 rubber mounting bobbins and an earthing strap. The fuel pipe adaptors are to suit 8mm bore pipe in the silvertop kits and to suit 10mm bore pipe in the redtop kit.

Not recommended for use with motorcycle engines.
